When Saturday comes... Boxing at the Lane
The VIP areas are sold out and there are only limited tickets available for Curtis Woodhouse's return to Bramall Lane on Saturday.
The unbeaten welterweight boxer - a former midfielder and captain of the Blades - takes on Dave Murray in the Platinum Suite looking to record a sixth straight win.
As well as Curtis, the professional show at the Lane will feature some of the best up and coming boxers in the country, including Josh Wale, the Central Area super-bantamweight champion, another victorious boxer under David Coldwell's management.
The night of boxing is the second event to come from the unique joint venture between Sheffield United Football Club and David Coldwell Productions, in association with Koncrete Promotions.
The event, which is sponsored by Arnold Laver Timberworld, Tek Personnel and Terra Firma Tiles, opens for hospitality from 7pm with the first bout starting at 9.30pm. For tickets please call 07799 456400.
* In preparation for the bout, Curtis popped into one of United's 'Fit for School' sessions earlier this week.
He spent time with youngsters from Intake Primary School and answers questions about his special diet now that he is a professional boxer. Curtis has slimmed down to 10st 10lbs since becoming a boxer, compared to 13 stone 2lbs when he used to play for the Blades.
