Powerfully-built central defender Ugo was signed in mid-January after Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers agreed to release him on a free transfer. He signed an 18-month deal to add experience to the Blades defence.
Ugo has won four caps and scored once for England, whilst in his club career he is perhaps best remembered for his spells at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. He made over 250 appearances for Villa and then cost then Boro boss Bryan Robson £8m for his services in 2000.
Since then he has had spells with Leeds United and Glasgow Rangers before Robson again swooped to secure his signature.
