David Cotterill faces talks with Kevin Blackwell this week and hasn't ruled out the possibility of moving to Bramall Lane.

The Wigan winger completed an impressive loan spell last weekend and now waits to see if the Blades want to try and make him a permanent signing, despite being told he has a future at the JJB Stadium:

"We will have to wait and see in the summer, but if the option is there I would be interested, for sure."

Cotterill was originally brought in on loan by Bryan Robson but his departure soon after could have made things awkward:

"I hadn't been here two minutes and the old Gaffer had gone, but Kevin Blackwell came in and told us as individuals and as a team what he expected of us. The results he has achieved shows he is definitely capable of taking this club forward."

"He took me aside and gave me encouragement which was a massive boost and many of the other lads were the same."

John Halls and Lee Martin, the Blades other loanees, also expect a decision as to whether their futures could be with the Blades.
