The United boss appreciates things didn't go to plan for Lee Hendrie under former boss Bryan Robson, although he is sure the midfielder can follow his lead as the rest of the squad did when he returned to the club in February:

"Lee had a poor season last year, although it isn't easy to work at a new club if everything is going wrong around you. The fans got on his back as they did with some of the other players, but by the end of the season the fans were fully supportive of them all."

"The Bramall Lane faithful will support anyone who shows effort, commitment and a passion to wear the Blades shirt, so the players know exactly what they want from them."
