Three United players are unable to start their summer break just yet as they have been called up for international duty.

Defender Gary Naysmith is part of the Scotland contingent that will meet up for a training camp ahead of a friendly fixture against the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday 30th May.

Stephen Quinn, a scorer in Sunday's Championship finale, is part of the Republic of Ireland U21s squad that will take part in an Intercontinental Cup competition in Malaysia.

The Blades midfielder and his international team-mates face the hosts, Nigeria and Iraq in the qualifying stages of the competition.

Australian winger David Carney, meanwhile, is looking forward to a busy summer period.

He is part of the Socceroos squad that face Ghana in a friendly in his home city of Sydney on Friday 23rd May, which will act as a warm-up game for a number of World Cup qualifiers.
